H-E-B reports several local stores are closed until further notice to assess damage from Hurricane Laura. The company released the following information at about 9 a.m. on Aug. 27:

"Store hours and operations (UPDATED 8/27)

"The following stores remain closed until further notice. We are assessing each location to make sure its safe and are working to reopen them as soon as possible:

  • Orange H-E-B
  • Groves H-E-B
  • Port Arthur H-E-B
  • Lumberton H-E-B
  • Mid County H-E-B
  • Beaumont 6 H-E-B (College Street location)

"All other Houston-area H-E-B stores are open and will operate normal business hours."

"H-E-B Fuel Stations and Pharmacies for affected stores will follow store hours."

H-E-B originally reported on Aug. 27 that H-E-B on Dowlen would also be closed but updated the news release to reflect that the location is open for business.
