In the daily briefing from the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center, it was reported there are 159 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the area. Along with the increase in confirmed cases, the entity reported there are seven deaths across the six counties as a result of COVID-19.

In Jefferson County, there are 82 cases, 39 in Hardin County, 31 in Orange County, four in Tyler County, three in Jasper County and one in Newton County.

The highest concentrations of the virus are in Beaumont (50), Lumberton (26), Port Arthur (18) and Silsbee (12). All other areas reporting coronavirus confirmations have less than 10 confirmed cases in their respective areas.
