Customer robbed on Gulfway Drive

April 14, at about 9:15 a.m., officers with the Port Arthur Police Department were dispatched to the 3400 block of Gulfway Drive in reference to a robbery that had just taken place. 

As officers arrived, they were advised a male subject approached a customer at the business, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle. 

The victim was not injured during the incident. The Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the crime as of publication.
