Mayor Robin Mouton expressed elation at the future prospects for Beaumont during her 2022 State of the City address on Sept. 8, at the Event Centre.
Mouton updated attendees on city activities and plans for the future, with the assistance of 10 city departments also represented with information booths and question-and-answer sessions. Highlights included a contemplated $4 billion industrial investment in the city and the creation of hundreds of new jobs.
“We were excited to hear Mayor Mouton’s discussion on the city, including quality of life, infrastructure and investments for the future,” said Josh Smith, chair of the Greater Beaumont Chamber Board of Directors and owner of Bill Clark Pest Control Inc.
