Traivonne Joshua Clark, 18, of Beaumont, was arrested for an outstanding warrant May 4 after he was identified from a Beaumont Police Department (BPD) social media posting looking for the suspect to a May 3 aggravated robbery.
At 2:30 a.m., the teen allegedly held up an individual at gunpoint in the 4900 block of Wyatt Street and stole his vehicle. At 4 a.m., officers located the vehicle at the gas pumps at Concord and Delaware. The driver fled down Delaware, north on Pine and to the dead end of Jeanette, where he fled on foot from the vehicle. Investigators believe he was picked up about 8:30 a.m. by an older model, light-colored Nissan Altima.
Clark was also charged with three other felonies – attempt to commit theft of property, unlawfully carrying a weapon and unauthorized use of the vehicle.
