The Beaumont Police Department laid to rest a 92-year-old retired detective Feb. 25.

"With heavy hearts the Beaumont Police Department said goodbye to Detective Sergeant Raymond Joe Beyer today," wrote BPD. 

Beyer retired from the Beaumont Police Department in 1989 after 32 years of service. He was born Jan. 9, 1929 and died Feb. 17, 2021.
