The fifth annual Christmas Tree Lighting is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Lumberton City Park on FM 421.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will appear and there will be Christmas caroling, train rides, hayrides, crafts, food trucks, hot chocolate, milk and cookies. Bring your crowd-friendly pet dressed in his/her holiday attire and wear your ugliest sweater. The secret judge will announce the winner.
