BEAUMONT, Texas – Are you an adult who wishes you still got an Easter basket? Beaumont Heritage Society has you covered! The John Jay French Museum invites grown-ups to hop into the Easter spirit like never before at our exclusive Adults After Easter event on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Get ready for a unique and unforgettable evening set within the historic and charming ambiance of the John Jay French Museum. This one-of-a-kind event is part of Beaumont Heritage Society’s Heritage Happy Hour events, designed to highlight local history and promote community engagement.
“We believe that adulthood shouldn't mean giving up on the joyous traditions of childhood. Adults After Easter was born out of the desire to seamlessly blend the nostalgia and excitement of a children's Easter egg hunt with the sophistication of being an adult,” said Beaumont Heritage Society Assistant Director, Karli Stansbury. “Adults After Easter holds a special significance by contributing to the preservation of history and serves as a fundraiser to support the care and maintenance of the 1845 John Jay French Museum.”
Adults After Easter will be held on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The hunt will commence at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for this event are $10.00 for guests 21 years of age and up. Beaumont Heritage Society Members can attend this event FREE! Bring your Easter baskets to hunt for eggs filled with candy and prize tickets, as well as miniature bottles of alcohol hidden on the grounds. Take a tour of the first floor of the John Jay French Museum, and enjoy two complimentary beverages, courtesy of Giglio Distributing Company.
