April 4, at about 1:15 p.m., the Orange Police Department received a report of a shooting victim at Exceptional Care on 16th Street in Orange. Officers arrived at the facility and found 17-year-old Trey Chanley Gibson suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Chanley was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers were told the shooting happened at the apartment complex located at 610 Burton Ave.
The suspect was described as a large black male wearing a white tank top and dark shorts. A second suspect was described as a short, black male with dreadlocks, dark shorts and a dark shirt. The suspects may have been in a teal 4-door Buick with damage to the driver-side rear door area.
