Main Event, an all-in-one entertainment venue that features state-of-the-art bowling, multi-level laser tag, gravity ropes, zip lines, mini golf, billiards, rock climbing and arcade games, is coming to Beaumont.

Construction has begun at 5380 Rexora Dr., which is near Walden Road.

Founded in 1998, Dallas-based Main Event operates 44 centers in 17 states across the country serving more than 20 million guests annually. To go along with all the games, Main Event is also a sports bar with food items that include burgers, pizza and desserts.

No timetable was given for an opening date.
