First Thursday returns March 7

The community is invited to attend "First Thursday" at the historic Mildred Building from 5:30-9 p.m. on March 7. Free First Thursday has become a tradition along Calder Avenue in Beaumont’s Old Town neighborhood and it all started at Katharine & Company, which is located at 1495 Calder Ave. in the Mildred.

Businesses will keep their doors open a little later as patrons can shop, dine and enjoy discounts as well as enjoy live music from Caleb Fontenot and Larry Oliver at Katharine & Company, who will offer delicious appetizers and a special evening menu.

From art to jewelry, you’ll find something unique and help support Beaumont’s thriving art scene, too. Peruse through Finder’s Fayre, Down to Earth, L’malam and Ella+Scott.
