After calling PAPD Canine Duc to a traffic stop, where the officer sniffed approximately three ounces of crack cocaine in a man’s underwear, police arrested a 52-year-old man April 26.

At about 6 p.m., PAPD officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of 22nd Street. Police made contact with the driver, identified as 52-year-old Myki McBride. Officers called in Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Crain and his K9 Partner “Duc” to assist. Duc alerted on a narcotic odor coming from his vehicle before officers found approximately 3 ounces of suspected crack cocaine “inside his undergarments.”

Officers took McBride to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. His charge is a second-degree felony, possession of a controlled substance.
