This is an acknowledgement that federal funding from DHS will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. Therefore, the Contractor awarded the contract must agree to and accept all terms and conditions outlined in Appendix II to part 200, Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

The successful bidder must furnish PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS on the forms furnished with the bid documents, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. All insurance companies issuing PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS and any reinsurance companies utilized by such insurance companies, in order to issue PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BONDS to the Owner, shall have at least an “A” rating according to the Best’s Key Guide and must be authorized to transact business in Texas. TWIC Cards are required for all contractor and subcontractor employees that enter the Port of Beaumont. Notice is hereby given that Jefferson County Emergency Services District No. 5 (the “District”) will hold an election on November 4, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., within the District for the purposes of considering the levy and collection of a local sales and use tax within the District at the rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%).
