Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by the Jefferson County Purchasing Department for Invitation for Bid (IFB 26-021/MR) Roofing Renovations to Jefferson County Courthouse Specifications for this project may be obtained from the Jefferson County website, https://jeffersoncountytx.gov/Purchasing/ or by calling 409-835-8593. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference and Walk-Through at 2:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Jefferson County Commissioners’ Courtroom (4th Floor, Historic Courthouse), 1149 Pearl Street, Beaumont, TX 77701.

The County shall require the Bidder to furnish a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract cost. The bid bond
must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas.

Within ten (10) days after the date of contract execution and prior to the issuance of Notice to Proceed and/or Purchase Order, the Bidder shall furnish the following bonds: Performance Bond to the County for the full amount of the contract if the contract exceeds fifty-thousand dollars ($50,000). Payment Bond to the County for the full amount of the contract if the contract exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).
