Make Music BMT

Downtown Beaumont Cultural Arts District will host the second annual “Make Music BMT” with more than 20 live music performers scattered throughout venues in Beaumont on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. All performances are free to attend. The Art Museum of Southeast Texas, 500 Main St.

Unique exhibit to be shown at Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown

For more than 40 years, Gladys City has given visitors a glimpse into life in the historic Spindletop oil field circa 1901, which is when the Lucas Gusher came in on Spindletop Hill, just south of Beaumont.
