Sept. 5, at 12:49 a.m., Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to a construction site in the 5700 block of Holiday Square after receiving a report of suspicious activity involving a pickup truck and trailer.
Officers determined that a Kubota skid-steer had been stolen from the property. During the follow-up investigation, officers worked with BPD’s Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) and utilized Flock camera technology to track the stolen equipment.
Within hours, officers reportedly located and recovered the stolen skid-steer on a trailer in the 3100 block of S. Major Drive. Further investigation revealed the trailer had also been reported stolen out of Conroe in July, BPD advised.
