News Shorts: Missing Beaumonters found safe

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) announced the end of two missing person searches as both residents have been located safely.

At about 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, BPD officers announced the search for 18-year-old Yamiadante Mickles when the autistic teen went missing. A caller saw the non-verbal teen walking along the I-10 bridge toward Orange County at about 9 p.m.

Another Beaumont resident, Wendolyn Huggins Williams, 71, was found safe Dec. 26 after being reported missing. She walked away from a residence on Prestwick Circle, but was found safely.
