Going virtual

“As a result of the increase in the number of COVID cases,” the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce announced Aug. 9, the Jefferson County “State of the County” is moving to an all-virtual platform, “for the sake of safety.” The event is set to take place Aug. 12 from 11:50 a.m. – 1 p.m.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause,” the chamber offered. “If you have already purchased tickets, we will send you a live virtual link to view the event later this week.”
