Child assaults lowlights VPD arrests

Officers arrested seven people between June 12 and 18, according to a report from the Vidor Police Department (VPD), with crimes including continuous sex abuse of a child and public intoxication.

VPD officers arrested Michael Bertrand, 33, for “continuous sex abuse of a young child or children.” As of press time, Bertrand was listed on the Orange County inmate roster with a $750,000 bond.

Officers arrested three people for public intoxication, including Lewis Dyson, 53; Daniel De La Fuente, 26; and Bryce Bourdreau, 37. VPD arrested Dustin Gilmore, 23, on two criminal trespassing charges and arrested Anthony Reynolds, 37, who had an outstanding warrant.
