The Southeast Texas COVID-19 infusion clinic is back open as of Tuesday, Feb. 8, according to Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick.

“We just got 144 doses of monoclonal antibody therapy and are re-opening immediately and rescheduling patients for infusions,” Branick said just before lunch Tuesday.

The Southeast Texas Regional Infusion Center has been previously shuttered due to inability to acquire the infusion drug. According to Branick and Emergency Management Coordinator Mike White, the drug has been in scarce supply for weeks.
