Silsbee Junior Dre’lon Miller was named the Built Ford Tough 4A Player of The Year on Jan. 14 in an awards ceremony held in Frisco, Texas.

Miller was nominated after he had nine catches for 204 yards, three touchdowns and six carries for 113 yards with an additional two scores to total 317 yards and five touchdowns in a win over West Orange-Stark.

For the season, Miller finished with 59 receptions for 1,415 yards and 21 touchdowns. He added another three scores and 365 yards rushing.

He was recently named on the Junior All-American Team by Max Preps and is a lock for this year’s Willie Ray Smith Offensive Player of the Year Award.
