Sports Shorts: Baseball

Former Kelly standout Ford Proctor will be honored by his high school baseball team Saturday, Jan. 28, when the Bulldogs host their annual Bulldog World Series fundraiser at the baseball stadium beginning at 10 a.m.

Tickets to the event are $20-$25, which includes food and the opportunity to take a photo and receive an autograph from Proctor. Tickets are available online at mkchs.com.

Proctor, 26, made his MLB debut last season with the San Francisco Giants. His first MLB home run came in the form of a grand slam Sept. 29, 2022, against the Rockies.
