Nearly a dozen Little League teams from Southeast Texas are keeping their dreams of playing in the Little League World Series alive by advancing to the championship rounds of their respected Sectional Tournament.

Plenty of baseball action tonight beginning with the Bridge City 10-year-olds will play Barbers Hill at 7 p.m. in Tomball. Barbers Hill would have to defeat Bridge City, twice.

Tonight at 7 p.m. in Mont Belvieu, Bridge City 11-year-olds play West End Little League. BC is just one win away from advancing.

The 12-year-old West End Little League team is one win away from advancing to state and have to defeat Bridge City, tonight, at 7 p.m. in Bridge City. If BC wins, the two teams would play again on Saturday at 7 p.m.

West End Little League Majors will face Bridge City tonight at 7 p.m. at Vidor Little League. BC would need two wins.

The Silsbee 50/70 Intermediate are in the second round of the State Tournament and play Needville tonight at 7 p.m. at Western University LL in Houston.

In girls' softball, Kirbyville Juniors defeated Bridge City, 20-1, to advance to the Texas East Tournament.

Silsbee and Bridge City 12-year-old Softball will square off tonight at 6 p.m. in Bridge City. Silsbee just needs one win to advance.

Lumberton's 11-year-old girls will place Channelview tonight at 6 p.m. in Bridge City with just one win needed to continue.
