Whiskey Myers to perform at Southeast Texas Crawfish Festival at Ford Park

Get ready to peel some crawfish and jam to some fantastic music at the inaugural Southeast Texas Crawfish Festival on Saturday, April 23, at Ford Park.

Headlining the event at Ford Pavilion is the popular Southern rock/country band Whiskey Myers. This six-piece outfit recently sold out the Golden Nugget in December 2021 and have been performing in front of tens of thousands of fans since forming some 10 years ago.

The band is touring in support of their latest self-titled record, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Music chart, and includes the hits "Ballad of a Southern Man," "Broken Window Serenade" and "Bar, Guitar and a Honky Tonk Crowd."

Also scheduled to perform is the Read Southall Band.

Gates will open at 10 a.m. for those ready to eat crawfish and admission is $5. Later than evening, gates at the pavilion will open at 5 p.m. for Whiskey Myers and friends. Tickets for the concert start at $25 and go on sale Thursday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
