Comedian Eddie Griffin to perform May 27

Comedian Eddie Grffin returns to Beaumont to perform at the Jefferson Theatre on Saturday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now starting at $50 at the Civic Center box office (701 Main St.) or ticketmaster.com.

A popular comedian turned actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990. 

Named as "One of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time" by Comedy Central, the 53-year-old Griffin has also starred in the big screen films "A Star is Born," "House Party 3," "Undercover Brother," "Deuce Bigalow," "Scary Move 3" and voiced the iconic Richard Pryor on "Black Dynamite."

Joining Griffin on stage is Moe Williams, JB Robinson and Charlie Mac.
