murder suspect also named a child sex assault suspect

July 13, detectives with the Port Arthur Police Department were assisted by the Jefferson County Warrant Division in arrest 24-year-old Lace Skyler Christian for the murder of Russell Vernon Reado.

Reado was killed May 10.

Christian was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility in lieu of a $1 million bond. Other charges on Christian’s booking report include indecency with a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child, both charges pending with no bond.
