Golf tournament fundraiser is April 28

The annual CASA Classic Golf Tournament is set for Friday, April 28, at the Wildwood Golf Course. The tournament is a four-person scramble and costs $400 per team to register. First flight check-in and breakfast is 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

The 20th annual BASF and TotalEnergies Miracle Match for Life Golf Tournament on April 29 raised more than $125,000 for three charities that provide lifesaving health services for people in Southeast Texas – Be The Match, Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program and LifeShare Blood Center.

Kyle Fox joined the local hole-in-one club Nov. 14 at Henry Homberg Golf Course when he aced Hole 17. Measuring 115 yards, he used a 9-iron for his memorable shot. Witnesses were Donald Jackson, Alan Null and Al Dean.
