Saddle up

Young riders will have the opportunity to take pony and horse rides at the Tyrrell Park Stables, 4765 Babe Zaharias Dr. in Beaumont, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5. Proceeds will reportedly be used to pay horses vet bills. The cost per ride is $10, or get three for $25.

The Spindletop Straight Shooters will host the first club practice since the pandemic on Saturday, Jan. 7, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Tyrrell Park Archery Range. Club membership will be required to participate and kids can join the day of the practice.
