Woman charged with puppy perishing

Michelle Marie Bradford, 42, of Port Arthur, was indicted on Sept. 21 on an allegation of cruelty to a non-livestock animal related to a deceased puppy found at Bradford’s home on or about July 13.

Groves investigates animal cruelty

Wednesday, July 13, at 3:23 p.m., the Groves Police Department assisted Groves Animal Control on a cruelty to animal call in the 3100 block of Taft, where a deceased puppy was discovered in a wire kennel on the side of the residence.
