Lamar State College Port Arthur has received a $500,000 planning grant as it spearheads the efforts of a regional coalition that could result in nearly $80 million to help bolster the area’s pool of trained nurses.

BOGO college classes

Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA) is offering Buy One, Get One free (BOGO) classes this summer or fall for up to six credit hours, the institution announced ahead of summer scheduling. “It’s the LSCPA BOGO event and everyone qualifies,” spokesperson Gerry Dickert advised in a news mailer.
