Due to “COVID-19-related staffing issues in our three locations,” the Jefferson County Tax Office announced on Jan. 13, the office will close one of its branches – the Port Arthur Tax Office – from Monday, Jan. 17, through Friday, Jan. 21. The Port Arthur office is expected to reopen Monday, Jan.
