Lumberton ISD hires new safety director

Thomas “Tim” Lane has been hired as new Director of Safety, Security and Student Services for Lumberton ISD, according to a June 22 press release from district officials.

Narcotics investigation nabs six suspects

After responding to a “suspected narcotics transaction” just outside Beaumont’s city limits on Highway 90 Wednesday, Dec. 1, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies arrested six Southeast Texans and seized approximately $12,000 in cash, a bevy of drugs and several weapons over two days.
