'Be a Santa to a Senior' program connects generations

 As the community prepares to celebrate the season of giving, Home Instead’s Charlie Holder is encouraging Southeast Texans to share the holiday spirit with older adults who may not be anticipating any gifts under the tree this year.

Top students, graduation date announced

Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School has set its 2021 graduation for Tuesday, May 25, beginning at 8 p.m. in Battlin’ Bear Stadium. Top graduates this year are Bella Rogers and Seonghak Kim. Valedictorian Bella Rogers is the daughter of Mark and Carolyn Rogers.
