Teen arrested for threat of school

Sept. 21, Tyler County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) deputies arrested a 17-year-old male for making a felony terroristic threat to a school. According to Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Chassin Tausch of Colmesneil was arrested and booked into the Tyler County Jail. Approximately at 5 p.m.

BPD finds ECHS shooting threat false

More than 50 Beaumont police officers and federal agents swarmed BISD’s Early College High School campus after hearing a false report about a gunman having shot more than 20 students Sept. 22. Officers found no one injured and no shooter at the school.
