As we journeyed back into 2022, we found out that Southeast Texas is not boring. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. Sure, Houston has professional sports teams and such, and Louisiana has casinos, but the “409” is filled with plenty of entertainment.

It was in 1789 when Robert Burns’ poem was set to a traditional tune, “Auld Lang Syne,” which became the song that would be sung every New Year’s Eve. “Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And days of auld lang syne?” Going out?
