Lumberton approves game room ordinance

In an effort to address issues that accompany what the city manager calls "growing pains," the Lumberton City Council unanimously approved an ordinance restricting game rooms within the municipality.

Lumberton eyes Popeyes franchise

Lumbertonians may soon have a new place to indulge their cravings for cajun cuisine, as the city council prepares to vote on amendments to a proposed Popeyes development. The property is located at 108 South LHS Dr., near Lumberton High School.
