Saturday, June 25, at about 10:30 a.m., Orange Police Department officers were dispatched to Interstate 10, just east of Highway 62, in reference to a white male with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified at the scene as 28-year-old Chase James Miller of Orange.

After Mont Belvieu police announced a man as a suspect in the murder of his estranged wife, officers in near the Texas-Mexico border found the man dead after he was hit by a truck on Highway 77 in Harlingen.

Man with warrants arrested

Bond was denied for a man with district warrants from Hardin County who was arrested last month. According to Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Chastyn Graham, 43, of Colmesneil, was arrested after Tyler County Sheriff’s deputies after they searched his residence.
