Two Beaumont police officers survived an alleged murder attempt after a teenager’s gun malfunctioned at an apartment complex on Dowlen Road July 3. At about 6 p.m.

Name released in Orange homicide

Saturday, June 25, at about 10:30 a.m., Orange Police Department officers were dispatched to Interstate 10, just east of Highway 62, in reference to a white male with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified at the scene as 28-year-old Chase James Miller of Orange.

Man with warrants arrested
