The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), in conjunction with Emergency Service District (ESD) No. 3, received a donation of two lifesaving defibrillators from LyondellBasell.

Inspired by unproved notions of local ballot-box foul play conducted by U.S. Representative Randy Weber (R-Beaumont), a Southeast Texas native and self-proclaimed “servant of the most-high God” issued a series of death threats to the elected official.

Meat thieves apprehended

Two men accused of stealing 150 pounds of meat right off the grill are in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail, each on bonds totaling a quarter-million dollars.
