Beaumont student named Texas All-State Musician Jan. 8, more than 70,000 students initially entered the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State competitive process in Tyler, vying for selection to perform in Texas All-State Music Ensemble.

It was a rare sighting at Odom Academy when dinosaurs made their way through the campus hallways as the Texas Energy Museum invited Odom art students to paint the extinct creatures to display at the upcoming Dinosaur Day.
