Man sentenced to prison for fondling 11 year old

Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham announced July 22 that a jury found Percy Andrepont, 68, guilty of two counts of indecency with a child. Judge Raquel West sentenced Andrepont to serve 50 years in prison on each count after hearing punishment evidence from an additional victim.

Two arrested after fleeing police

Tuesday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., BPD officers patrolling the area of the Avenue A and Brockman attempted to stop a white 2014 Lincoln MKZ for a traffic violation. The driver, later identified as Harold Henry, a 28-year-old Beaumont man, did not stop and a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

Beaumont Police search for murder suspect Police in Beaumont are investigating a shooting a that left one man dead and another injured. Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the Citgo at 2050 S. Major Drive in reference to a shooting victim.

BPD investigates shooting death

Just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 1300 block of Edwin Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as 18-year-old Dwyndell Perrault Jr.
