DA rescinds Nederland child pornographer’s probation deal, announces more child porn charges for Beaumont Airport employee

After reviewing the probation agreement penned for a soon-to-be registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to 10 counts of child pornography possession, the Jefferson County District Attorney Bob Wortham withdrew the deal and set the Nederland man’s case on track for trial this week.

After reviewing evidence that a 24-year-old Beaumont Municipal Airport employee allegedly posted and downloaded more than 100 videos and photos of children being sexually assaulted, a Jefferson County grand jury indicted a Port Neches man on 10 counts of child pornography.
