The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) will host “Margaret Smithers-Crump: Kinship” as it’s spring exhibition on view now through June 18. Smithers-Crump is a Houston-based sculptor, whose work focuses on the vulnerability and interconnectedness of the Earth’s diverse life forms and ecosystems.

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is presenting their newest exhibit, “James C. Watkins: Reflections Made of Memories,” on view Jan. 7-March 19.

Watkins ‘Retrospective’

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) will present James C. Watkins: Reflections Made of Memories, on view from Jan. 7 through March 19, 2023. An opening reception, free and open to the public, is set for on Friday, Jan. 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

AMSET’s Café Art series

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas will present “Michael Lee: Finding My Way” beginning Thursday, Nov. 17-Feb. 5, 2023, in AMSET’s Café Art Series for local artists. Lee is returning for his second café show after 11 years.

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas will host their 35th Anniversary Gala titled “Fashion with Feathers” on Friday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. This fundraiser will feature fine dining by Bando's catering, live music from Flava Band, as well as live and silent auctions and an open bar.
