August is heating up A Tasting for Some Other Place fundraiser will take place Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center. Since 1968, Some Other Place has served the area by providing emergency assistance to low/no income families who have faced emergency situations.

Summer happenings So proud… of Dr. Mark Kubula, who during the Christus Southeast Health System annual medical staff meeting was presented with the 2022 Compassion, Excellence and Kindness Award. Kubala was recruited by the Sisters of Incarnate Word and started his work in Southeast Texas in 1966.
