Beaumont announces inaugural Veteran's Day parade

Beaumont, Texas, (October 22, 2026)— The City of Beaumont Mayor’s Veterans Coalition will recognize and honor our local veterans during a Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Rogers Park.

The inaugural event has been designed to accommodate veterans of all abilities, including those who use wheelchairs or need mobility assistance.

The procession will begin at the Rogers Park Community Center parking lot and travel southwest toward Gladys Avenue. Participants will then head east along Gladys Avenue, turn north onto Dowlen Road and loop west through the library property before returning to Rogers Park.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring the very first official Veterans Day parade to the streets of Beaumont,” said Cheryl Williams, retired U.S. Army veteran and President of the Veterans Coalition of Beaumont. “This inaugural event is a monumental milestone for our city. It provides a long-overdue, centralized platform to loudly honor our service members, unite our community, and celebrate the incredible bravery of our local heroes. The excitement among our veterans is palpable, and we cannot wait to see the streets filled with patriotic pride.”

The community is invited to line the parade route and help recognize the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Veterans and organizations interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance. For registration information, parade guidelines or route details, call 409-833-9593.

The City of Beaumont Mayor’s Veterans Coalition works to support local veterans and their families by connecting them with community resources, services and opportunities.
