A Beaumont man is jailed charged with murder. 65-year-old Patrick Brouchet is accused of the Saturday, Oct 17, shooting death of 32-year-old Kandace Washington in the 2500 block of North 10th Street in Beaumont.
During his perp waslk told reporters that he was in a relationship with Washington and thought she was an intruder in the 9:00 pm shooting. Brouchet was transported to the Jefferson County Jail. His bond has been set at $1 million. The investigation continues.
