The City of Beaumont Water Utilities Department will be making repairs today, Friday, Aug 13, 20226, to a large -diametre cast iron water main. Due to its size, customers in the downtown area and neighborhoods south of downtown may temporarily experience some discoloration in their water while the work is underway. Once repairs are complete, crews will be flushing water lines throughout the affected area to help clear any discoloration from the system. Residents that experience discolored water are asked to contact 311. A water utility crew will be dispatched to the area to flush the line.
