A Jasper County man is jailed charged with sexual assault of a child pornography depicting sexual assault of a child. The month-long investigation started with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and exploited children. The tip led to the arrest of 37-year-old Timothy John Canfield. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office assisted The Texas Attorney General's Office with serving an arrest and search warrant at a residence at 229 County Road and 1702 W Houston Street in Jasper. Canfield was arrested at that location and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
