The Beaumont Police Department spent Sunday afternoon building connections with local families during its monthly Fun Day at the Park on July 13 at Rogers Park.
The community event, which draws dozens of children and their parents each month, gives officers an opportunity to step away from their patrol cars and spend time with the people they serve. Children enjoyed games and treats while families visited with officers, asked questions and learned more about the department.
The monthly initiative is designed to strengthen relationships between the Beaumont Police Department and the community by creating positive interactions and fostering trust in a fun, relaxed setting.
