Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD announced Matthew Huckaby has been named as the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Region 5 High School Assistant Principal of the Year.
According to the district, Huckaby was nominated and selected for his dedication, leadership and commitment to students and staff.
Also, Vidor ISD’s Amy Crew was selected as the TASSP Region 5 Junior High School Assistant Principal of the Year for 2025-26.
