June 10, at approximately 4:25 a.m., Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to a single vehicle traffic crash near the 5400 block of Ohio, locating the driver and lone occupant unresponsive in the driver’s seat.
The victim, 24-year-old Cyanasia Dowl, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Preliminary investigation reportedly indicates the victim was traveling northbound in the 1800 block of Cardinal Drive when she left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a light pole.
